Database Migration Service for homogeneous SQL Server migrations now provides dedicated support for Cloud SQL for SQL Server sources. This feature is generally available (GA).

For Cloud SQL for SQL Server sources, Database Migration Service automatically exports all required backup files and uploads them to a dedicated Cloud Storage bucket.
